A famous Taurus is Keith Haring, a safe-sex advocate, and artist, he filled New York City’s subways with line drawings and graffiti. The ability to communicate and stop people in their tracks is a reason to keep doing what he was doing. Although Haring died of AIDS in 1990 at the young age of 31, his traits of love and comfort represent that of a Taurus, and his Keith Haring Foundation still preserves his legacy and ideals.

Leo Dates: July 23 – August 22 

The epitome of a Leo would have to be Andy Warhol, one of the best-known artists. Leos never stop moving forward and tend to be vain with aspirations of superstardom. Warhol knew his worth and he founded Andy Warhol Enterprises in 1975. For $25K he would create a portrait of anyone. He led the Pop art movement and was consumed by celebrity culture and fame.

Sol LeWitt, born September 9, 1928

Virgo Dates: August 23 – September 22

Sol LeWitt aimed to make sense of all things around him – especially art and as a Virgo, he possessed problem-solving abilities. He would endlessly organize and constantly strive for perfection. He would create hundreds of artworks and would go on to investigate the limits of simple geometry and eventually would become a master of Conceptualism.

Marina Abramović, born November 30, 1946

Sagittarius Dates: November 23 – December 22

Marina Abramovic is intense and would search for knowledge, authenticity, and realness all lining up with Sagittarius-like behavior. Abromvic spent many years traveling the world and had a fire that burned to explore the world. She possesses excellent story-telling skills and she is famous for performing The Artist is Present where she sat at a table and would stare into the eyes of any person who would come up. Eva Hesse qualifies as a Capricorn given that she was a workaholic to a fault. She always worked towards her goal and nothing would get in her way. Pisces Dates: February 20 – March 20
